Hey! I'm Faith.

Meet the Photographer
Good to meet you

My name is Faith.

I’m the owner of Faith Chariana Photography. I picked up a camera for the first time when I was about 17-years-old, and found myself falling absolutely in love with creating. In college I studied Visual Arts with a focus in photography. There I dived deeper into documentary styled photography. From my studies, my goal for taking photos became about quality, not quantity. I strive to capture images that are honest and intentional. My top priority is telling your story clearly, accurately, and beautifully.

But how can I photograph in this way without really knowing and caring about the subjects of my camera? And that's just it. I deeply care about the people that trust me with their stories. Once we say yes to each other, we're becoming friends. On your big day you can count on me picking up your dress when we're walking around or chasing your little one to keep the family session fun! I want to serve you in the best way I can, beyond giving you photographs.

So now I'm sure you're ready to know more about me! So here's a few fun facts:

I married my best friend, Denim, on August 20th, 2022! We got married at Cross Water Ranch, which is actually the venue we own and manage. As a shameless plug, if you're getting married in the Uintah Basin and are looking for a spot to get married, this might be it! Not to mention I offer a 10% discount on my wedding prices for photography if you book at Cross Water Ranch...just sayin' ;)

We have the sweetest dog, Shiloh. He's a Mini Ausie and a wild little thing! Denim surprised me with him as a birthday gift and as you can tell I was SHOCKED. Growing up we didn't have dogs but after playing with other family and friends' dogs, I knew I would want to be a dog mom someday.

I'm a biiiiiig fan of coffee. My two favorite orders are a plain cortado or a small mocha, both with oatmilk. I was a barista for a while and absolutely LOVED that job. The coffee, the people, and the conversations...it was all amazing.

My life has been radically changed by Jesus and one of the greatest honors and joys of my life is to lead worship. I believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins and that if we accept Him as Lord and Savior we can spend eternity with Him. What He's done in my life is why I am who I am today.
